saw this near the park gate near my flat
So i finally arrived after a long trip over here, about 23 hours on aeroplanes. The weather has been pretty crappy today and yesterday. it is winter here, so its in the 40’s, but its been pretty dreary- cloudy with bits of rain. not very friendly. i live near the Caulfield campus at Monash Uni. my flat is about an 8 minute walk from the campus area, that includes some stores and things. not much around here though. there is a train station next to the campus that will take people to different places, like downtown, the other campuses, and whatnot. i have yet to go downtown yet, and well i have yet to meet anyone as well. im pretty lonely. speak only a sentence of words each day, and ive been up since 7 this morning. went to bed around 8 last night-a saturday night too, but i was entirely too tired and had no idea what to do with myself, so i figured sleep was my best bet. walked around a bit today, found some stores, some sweet graffiti, a huge horse race track- next race is on the 15th of july, i think im going to go. should be fun. lots of action. aside from footy, i think horse racing is a huge hit here. ill see. well the library is closing soon, so i must go now. hope you are all doing well
